Ex Display, Returned, Cancelled, Preloved Order Sofas | Things to consider

Things to consider before purchasing a sofa.

All items that come to me, come to me unwrapped. Sofas come to me without feet to ensure a safe journey. Having legs on can get knocked in transit and can damage the carcus. 

Because of this, lining material from underneath the sofa can be damaged from being slid on the floors or even with me moving sofas about, alone on wheels.

Most people are not bothered about this but if you are then please ask and I will lift the sofa and check for you. This isn’t always the case but worth pointing out. Lining material has no affect on the sofa and how it looks when in situ…..I mean who spends their time with their head under a sofa?! They’re meant to be sat on, right?

Another thing to be aware of is that I move, lift, and collect the sofas alone; knocks on feet could happen in the warehouse or before they’ve arrived to me. I would always stain or touch them up if I notice it but again they’re not brand new direct from a manufacturer and which is why they’re a third to a quarter of retail price. Any concerns then please do ask before purchasing.

This will never be reported in a product report. If it’s something that would bother you and you’d like to know, I can certainly lift the sofa up and find out for you. 

⚪️ All Ex display, returns or Preloved items are professionally cleaned before leaving me. This can mark the lining material under the cushions with cleaning fluid and sometimes they do have marks on the lining material under the cushions, which again can not be seen as the seating cushions sit on top. Please ask if you would like to know as things you can’t see in situ eg lining material will NOT be pointed out in a product report.

Preloved and returned sofas can not be returned so if you require more photos before purchasing then do ask. They are not brand new and will be cleaned and again any marks or repairs will be said in the product report unless it’s the lining or feet as previously stated. You are also welcome to view if still available on the website when you come.

Returned sofa: This means a customer has been sent the wrong sofa or it has a blemish on arrival or been sent in the wrong fabric etc. Customers generally have them in their home for up to 6 months until their correct order is made. Again all returns are steam cleaned and washed professionally but the reason why they are so cheap. They are sold as seen so if you’d like to view or more pictures then ask before purchasing as I do not accept returns on these.

Please do be aware that I wrap the sofas myself after they’ve been professionally cleaned and sometimes the odd dusty marks can go on them. I’m extremely careful but sometimes it can’t be helped. They’re usually just a wipe off but do message if you need advice on this.
